Health and Social Care Services Limited (H&SCS Ltd) was founded in 2017 by:
Riza Tongson-Espe – Specialist Complex Care and ITU nurse.
In partnership with Gordon Ward of Beaumont Health Care Ltd – a successful, high quality home care provider in Cambridgeshire for the past 20 plus years achieving Strategic Partnership status with Cambridgeshire County Council.
Gordon Ward, together with Martin Bociek, Finance Director, developed services that have included many bespoke innovative care models that today form the basis of everyday care provision in the Region.
HASCS Ltd was born through a vision of a clinically sound and truly nurse led bespoke complex care provision. Riza has observed the development of Complex Care delivered through business development led models, which often conflicted with client satisfaction and/or personalisation.
Wanting to get away from this model gives us the freedom and scope to deliver the care we are passionate about, wholly centered upon giving the patient the best possible care and outcome. Being fully nurse owned and led means client safety and wellbeing is central to everything we do.
Transparent in our approach, honest in our abilities and realistic in what can be done, we work in partnership with you to provide responsive and sustainable nurse led care at home.
Supporting the transition from one place of care to another, building independence and maintaining instrumental activities of daily living plus working towards wishes and aspirations, we can support clients to reach their optimum potential, at home, at work, at university or on holiday.
Each package of care is unique to that individual and built to meet their needs. We would choose a team with the client as involved as they wish to be, building confidence from the outset. We look to match personalities as well as clinical skills. As
nurses we can provide training but also link up with specialists to ensure care staff are fully supported to provide excellent care.
We believe in developing our teams and providing an employment package that not only attracts skilled care workers but also retains them. Sustainability is key to longevity and consistency
We also pride ourselves on our openness and how we communicate. Using IT to aid this further all care notes can be viewed in real time to offer that reassurance to families but also for the wider multidisciplinary team with the clients consent. Using this technology also enables us to be much more responsive when circumstances change, such as a change in medication or location of care. Having these systems in place ensure clinical governance systems are in place, to meet and exceed our regulatory requirements.
