Home mechanical ventilation is perhaps considered the most complicated and advanced type of medical treatment provided outside the acute hospital setting.
We have identified, through experience, that the care of individual with complex needs, who is dependent on home mechanical ventilation, presents many challenges. These challenges present to the healthcare professionals, the service user and their families.
As experienced Specialist Nurses, we are confident in our ability and commitment to provide the highest standards of clinical care at home, constantly promoting best practice. We work in partnership with the service user, and their family, to fully understand any challenges, any requirements and their choices around their care provision. From this we develop a realistic, bespoke package of care. We extensively train our staff to be equipped with the skills, knowledge and confidence required to support clients requiring ventilator support.
